Join the EMPOWER Series for an empowering workshop focused on strategies for funding your education through scholarships! This session is designed to provide you with the knowledge and resources to navigate the scholarship landscape effectively.

About the Workshop:

Finding and securing scholarships can be a transformative step in achieving your educational goals. This interactive workshop will provide you with smart strategies to help you in your search for funding.

The objectives of the EMPOWER Series are to provide:

  • EDUCATION: Equipping you with practical knowledge and tools.

The session will be introduced by Clifton Ellis Johnson, the founder of the EMPOWER Series.

Meet Our Guest Speaker:

Hannah Sutton, Program Director, Educational Opportunity Centers at ORS

We are pleased to welcome Hannah Sutton, a passionate advocate for educational access. As the Program Director for the Educational Opportunity Centers (EOC) at ORS, Hannah serves individuals in Dallas, Johnson, and Tarrant counties, helping them navigate the path to higher education.

A native of Arlington, Texas, Hannah's dedication to education is deeply personal, stemming from a family of educators including first-generation, non-traditional college students. Her professional background includes valuable experience in college admissions and college readiness programs. Hannah joined ORS in 2017, progressing from a College Access Advisor to Assistant Director before leading all three EOC programs in the region. She has seen firsthand the profound impact of education on individuals' lives and career trajectories.
