Collaborating with the SBA Resource Partners
February 19, 2022 @ 10:00AM — 11:00AM Central Time (US & Canada)
SBA works with a number of local partners to counsel, mentor, and train small businesses. The SBA has 68 District Offices, as well as support provided by its Resource Partners, such as SCORE offices, Women's Business Centers, Small Business Development Centers and Veterans Business Outreach Centers.
SBA partners with organizations around the country to provide training, opportunities, and funding to communities in their local area. Join Clifton Johnson, Founder of the EMPOWER Series, as he introduces you to representatives from the SBA and each resource partner: SCORE Business Mentoring, Women's Business Center (WBC), Veterans Business Outreach Center (VBOC) and the Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
The SBA assists small businesses in four main areas: financing, education and training, government contracting, and providing a voice in policy matters. These programs are aimed at helping entrepreneurs start their businesses and keep them thriving.
